Final Lecture by Professor Atsushi Yokoyama

Professor Atsushi Yokoyama will retire in March 2024 after many years of dedicated service to the education, research, and public service of the University since the establishment of the Department of Advanced Fibro-Sciences. ■After the end of the COVID-19, we were able to hold the Fibro Symposium for the first time in three years, inviting professors from abroad. At the poster presentation in the morning, master's students and others summarized their usual research results in A1 size in English and struggled to explain and answer questions in English. In the afternoon, Prof. Yang from Donghua University (China) and Prof. Kim from Yeungnam University (Korea) gave special lectures on cutting-edge technologies of fibers and fiber composite materials.
